The World Wildlife Fund‘s exceptionally beautiful 2008 Annual report was just released. Scott Dickerson is honored to have his photography work in the Mekong Delta region (Vietnam) featured as the illustration for a four page essay: ‘The Mekong – the river and more.’ The photographs are the result of an 18 day assignment Scott completed with WWF in April 2008 traveling throughout southern Vietnam photographing important environmental issues facing the region. Subjects photographed included catfish and shrimp farming, industrial development, agriculture, furniture processing, cocoa plantations, forestry and national parks. A special thanks to WWF US’s Jill Hatzai, Rochelle Howard and others who made the assignment possible.

The annual report also includes a Scott Dickerson photo of a commercial fishing boat in Bristol Bay. Scott has worked with WWF in Alaska on several assignments over the last three years, mostly focusing on the Bristol Bay area.
