The thick gray overcast and drizzling rain conditions were far from ideal, but Scott did his best and the article ran with two images from the evening hike. The article was written by Bonnie Tsui.

Scott Dickerson was hired by the New York Times newspaper to photograph Homer, Alaska for an article - ‘JOURNEYS; 36 hours’ travel series. Scott spent several days photographing a variety of locations and activities that a visitor to Homer could see and experience in a 36 hour visit.
